Ropedia W0 world model: poor hand-eye calibration in open robot data is the accuracy bottleneck
liuziwei7 · x · 2026-10-23
Ropedia launches Super Week with W0, a single world model trained on 10,000 hours of egocentric human video that predicts action-to-visual transitions for humans and robot arms alike. The team argues accurate world models need rendering that tightly follows actions, and the bottleneck is better data, not more: many open robot datasets suffer from poor hand-eye calibration that misaligns proprioception and vision. W0 uses meticulous annotation to ensure reliable alignment.
