marclou's iPhone Duo verdict: hard to open, brick-thick, and pointless
marclou · x · 2026-10-23
Creator marclou shared three gripes after trying Apple's iPhone Duo foldable: the unfolding button sits right where his thumb presses, causing accidental camera launches; the folded form is thick and heavy like a brick while the unfolded size demands two hands; and it enables nothing his phone can't already do while feeding his screen addiction. In a quoted thread he also recounts using Cursor's agent on his iPhone 15 to urgently fix his website's broken layout on the new viewport.
