1.3B Open-Source Model OXR Beats Gemini 3 Pro on Document Parsing, Tops 3 Benchmarks
JaynitMakwana · x · 2026-10-23
OXR-1.0, an open-source document parsing model with just 1.3B parameters, scored 97.18 on OmniDocBench vs Gemini 3 Pro's 92.91, and took #1 on olmOCR-Bench (87.84) and DocParsingBench (87.76) as well. On a single NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 it runs at 557.8 tokens/sec recognition and processes 100 pages end-to-end in 101 seconds — about 1.6x faster than DeepSeek-OCR-2 (161s), and vastly faster than Infinity-Parser2-Pro (87.60 on olmOCR-Bench), which needs over 6,400 seconds for the same workload.
