Why EdgeRock-4B fits robots and edge devices: fixed memory that never balloons
xiaohu · x · 2026-10-23
The author adds application context for EdgeRock-4B: robots, autonomous vehicles and other edge devices have limited, fixed memory budgets that must also serve camera vision, radar perception and motor control — they can't afford an LLM whose memory balloons mid-inference. EdgeRock's constant-memory design makes it feasible to run large models on such memory-constrained hardware.
