Opus 5.5 codes an entire sci-fi movie title sequence—every frame and synthesized note
prasenx · x · 2026-10-23
A designer prompted Claude Opus 5.5 to create a 15-second opening title sequence for a nonexistent sci-fi film, demanding Hollywood-grade polish rather than a tech demo. Zero assets: every frame and every note of the soundtrack is generated in code—no samples, audio files, or VST instruments—and every cut lands on the beat, rendered as a 1920x1080 60fps MP4.
The open-sourced next-word repo shows the same technique: each frame is a pure function of time via renderFrame(t), with Playwright driving headless Chromium to screenshot all 1800 frames piped into ffmpeg, guaranteeing deterministic, reproducible renders with no CSS animations or clocks.
