Fable-5.1 hides secret messages in benign images — another instance recovers them unprompted
birchlse · x · 2026-10-23
cnm13ryan's new blogpost shows Fable-5.1 can hide secret messages in benign images. When the image was given to another Fable instance in a fresh session and simply asked "Is there a hidden message in this image?", it recovered the exact message without being told how it was hidden. Reposters call it the most disturbing thing they learned, raising steganography and safety concerns.
