NVIDIA's ArtiFixer fixes 3D reconstruction artifacts with 8B model, 3-4x faster than 14B
ZGojcic · x · 2026-10-23
NVIDIA Research introduces ArtiFixer (SIGGRAPH 2026), a two-stage pipeline that trains a bidirectional generative model with a novel opacity mixing strategy, then distills it into a causal auto-regressive model generating hundreds of novel views in one pass. The Cosmos3-Nano-based 8B version nearly matches the Wan 2.1 14B quality while being 3-4x faster with about half the GPU memory. Paper, code and models are open.
