Tailscale, Docker and Snyk Publish 'Secure Software Factory' Reference Architecture for AI Agents
sull · x · 2026-10-23
Tailscale has joined the Agent Baseline coalition (with Docker, Snyk, Socket and others) to publish the Secure Software Factory reference architecture for AI agents that write, deploy and operate code. Core principle: the agent proposes, policy authorizes, infrastructure enforces. It defines four boundaries — sandbox, network, supply chain, identity & access — and three autonomy levels (human-, workflow-, agent-orchestrated), with examples like proxy-blocking an incident agent that reaches for logs beyond its authorization.
