Live Sales AI Said "Yes We Support Azure AD"—But It Wasn't in the Notes
SouthWhole7015 · reddit · 2026-10-23
A developer raises a boundary question for live sales-call AI answer tools: their product notes only mention SSO via Okta, but when a customer asked about Azure AD on a call, the AI answered "yes, it works too"—plausible, but unverified since it wasn't in the notes.
The core point: on a live call, a wrong answer is worse than a slow one. They ask how to make such tools stick strictly to provided notes, and what the right fallback is for uncovered questions—admit ignorance, suggest a follow-up, or escalate to a human.
