Reddit user homebrewedstuff is developing LoRA Studio, a local browser UI for preparing datasets, editing captions, and managing LoRA training with AI Toolkit, now released as an MIT-licensed technical preview.
- Goal: train Krea 2 LoRAs on 12GB VRAM cards, eventually targeting 8GB; current dev testing runs on a 16GB card
- Requirements: Linux, NVIDIA GPU, Python 3.12, an existing compatible AI Toolkit install, and your own licensed model files — it's an add-on, not verified for clean-machine installs
- Free download window runs through Oct 29 (Central); downloaded copies remain usable afterward
Feedback is requested, especially on setup and memory usage, via Reddit or GitHub Issues.
