Peter Wildeford downplays AI bank-access scare: user-authorized agents, no bank hacking
zacharynado · x · 2026-10-23
Pushing back on the recent panic, Peter Wildeford argues the "AI agents accessing banks" story is overrated: these were user-authorized agents doing mostly user-authorized things (e.g., asking Grok Bot to check a balance), just without bank authorization — and banks seem unprepared for this. No bank hacking or rogue agents occurred, as far as known.
