AltSchool Africa CTO steps up to CEO, launches sub-£15k degree programmes
Fowe · x · 2026-10-23
After five years building AltSchool Africa, co-founder hackSultan is officially moving from CTO to CEO. Alongside the transition, the platform is launching full degree programmes aimed at giving Africans global education at local pricing: the same university, lecturers, and BSc degree as studying in the UK, but for under £15,000 instead of roughly £30,000. Self-described as "the edX of Africa," AltSchool says more global universities will join its network in the coming months.
