Anthropic uses Claude to formally verify software security properties at scale
cedric_chee · x · 2026-10-23
Anthropic's Frontier Red Team blog, in collaboration with Theorem Labs, details using Claude to formally prove security properties across large codebases—previously infeasible beyond small codebases or without heavy expert time. Commenters note Claude also runs Rocq proof checks and OSS-Fuzz on C libraries at scale (token-inefficient), and argue Rust eliminates an entire class of memory bugs at the source.
