CellWalk concept app zooms from whole cells to atoms in real time on a fictional iPhone Duo
dreamwieber · x · 2026-10-23
A concept demo for CellWalk, a biology learning app designed for the fictional foldable "iPhone Duo," works like Apple Maps: you zoom from an entire cell down to the atomic level, with billions of atoms rendered in real time on-device ("optimized for the A20 Pro").
Screenshots show synapse active zones and SNARE-mediated membrane fusion, with educational captions about proteins like Bassoon, RIM, Munc13 and synaptotagmin, plus a voice assistant ("Ako") for asking questions at each "stop."
Caveat: the iPhone Duo and A20 Pro don't exist, so this is a concept showcase rather than a shipping product — impressive to look at, not something you can actually run.
