Cua Spaces SDK lets Hermes and other agents run in sandboxes on your own hardware
Teknium · x · 2026-10-23
NousResearch's Hermes Agent now ships a Cua Spaces plugin: its terminal, file and code tools run inside an isolated Linux/macOS/Windows VM that teammates can watch live and take over.
- Context: big labs give their bots dedicated computers (Grok Bot, Muse, dots) but none let you bring your own; Cua Spaces lets you run Claude Code, Codex or any agent on hardware you choose and run jobs across machines in parallel.
- Three-step install: install Cua and sign in → hermes plugins install cua-spaces → hermes config set terminal.backend cua. Since the Space is the sandbox, Hermes skips risky-command prompts.
- On Hermes 0.22.3+, Bot Desktop, computeruse and the browser follow the terminal into the Space.
- Promo code HERMES-3EPX2A gives the first 50 users a free month of Spaces Pro/Teams until Nov 15.
