Cloudflare CEO: Next two years of AI cyberattacks will be terrifying but make the internet more secure

Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince says the next two years of AI-driven cyberattacks will be 'incredibly fraught,' with AI tools having 'infinite patience' to hunt for vulnerabilities across the internet — it will 'feel like the sky is falling.'
But he argues AI is the good guy, not the bad guy: 'AI didn't create these vulnerabilities, AI found them.' Using the metaphor of a house with deadly monsters hidden in every closet, he contends that surfacing and fixing these flaws — however frightening the process — will ultimately leave the internet in a more secure place.
