AuroraAI-Research released AuroraTTS-100K, an English TTS model that produces mostly intelligible speech with under 100K parameters. Quantized to INT8 it takes just 127KB, running 72x real-time on CPU and 1120x on GPU. It slurs difficult words and long numbers. Up on Hugging Face; feedback welcome.
