Top engineers always hated PHP — good AI coding tools finally revealed how bad it is

Frameworks tamed it somewhat versus one bigass script, he says, but it took the arrival of good AI coding tools — which read and expose legacy code in all its glory — for everyone to realize just how bad PHP codebases really are.
