Spreading NPC consequences like graph traversal along relationship links

Part 8 of the Nemesis-system thread (with an explanatory diagram of one event cascading through two link types): relationships make consequences spread. The WB patent describes updating indirectly affected NPCs via faction links, and enRAGE documents kin and friends reacting to a death. Think graph traversal: follow relevant links, then apply a rule per relationship — a captain's death simultaneously triggers succession and a friend's grudge/revenge arc.
