AI Fits Game Design and World-Building, but Falls Short on Game Code
gerardsans · x · 2026-10-23
The author argues AI is a good fit for game design, asset creation and world-building — themes and narratives don't need to match reality, and it works well as inspiration. But it's less useful for game building itself, since source code is proprietary and rarely available. Rule of thumb: AI is safest when summarizing complete information; hallucination risk peaks when data is missing or generated from scratch, so always verify.
