Bruin makes LLM inference a first-class primitive in data pipelines
pzakin · x · 2026-10-23
Bruin launched 'inference assets,' making LLM calls a first-class primitive inside data pipelines. The pain point: enriching Snowflake data with models (e.g., a Haiku call to flag tickets, or classifying issues) currently means splitting your dbt pipelines or building a separate Airflow DAG. Bruin lets inference steps live directly in the same pipeline. As the reblogger notes, falling token costs make inference viable for far more workloads.
