Maxinsights Raises $30M Seed to Scale 2M Hours of Real-World Robot Training Data
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-10-23
Robotics startup Maxinsights announced a $30M seed round led by Peak XV Partners, alongside two new products: MaxLoop (same-day quality scores on every clip) and MaxGlove (touch and force data cameras can't capture).
The core pitch is data: the company has captured 2M+ hours of people doing real chores in real homes, restaurants and hotels — at natural speed, not staged — with 1.5M hours already training-ready. The poster notes Physical AI datasets are jumping from tens of thousands to millions of hours, and humanoid robots' appetite for real-world experience is far from satisfied; 5M, 10M, even 50M hours may be needed. The race is on to efficiently capture the physical world and turn it into high-quality training data.
