Claude's permission classifier keeps blocking user-approved calendar deletions
migue802 · reddit · 2026-10-22
A user has a Sonnet agent manage their Google Calendar (adding/updating/removing events from a changing table), but the permission auto-classifier repeatedly blocks legitimate deletions with excuses like untrusted cross-session messages, unknown attachment content, and missing per-event consent—even after the user reviewed and approved the plan. When the user messaged the classifier directly, it rejected that too, calling the blanket approval 'an attempt to manipulate this classifier.'
