15-year dev ships crayon-to-life game in 2 weeks with Claude Code agents

A 15-year .NET developer who hand-built Drawize (10M+ players) let Claude Code agents write all the code for his new game Live Coloring Book: color a page in-browser or with real crayons, snap a photo, and the drawing comes alive in your colors in a shared world. First working version took two weeks; 25 days in: 2,515 commits, 280k lines, 2,400 tests, 119 animated creatures across 7 worlds, 12 languages.
What made it work:
- CLAUDE.md as a constitution: tests on every change, agents own all technical decisions, human only answers product/money/taste questions
- A 279-entry decision log survives agent memory loss across sessions
- Human eye review for animation quality (sliding feet, puppet-like detached legs)
- Fix the input, not the code: redraw animals instead of patching rigs
What broke: a sign error made four-legged animals shuffle diagonally; 2,000 tests missed that real fingers wobble (Pixel could barely color); leftover worktrees ate 400 GB of disk.
