Matt Pocock shares his /grill-me prompt: make the AI interrogate you one question at a time
mattpocockuk · x · 2026-10-22
TypeScript luminary Matt Pocock shares a prompt he still uses regularly: when the problem is hugely underspecified and a single Q&A round could send the project in wildly different directions, he prompts the AI with /grill-me about this, one question at a time, forcing the model to interrogate him one question per turn until the requirements crystallize. Useful at the very start of projects where you have no idea what you're building.
