RTX 5090 hotspot hits 98°C in ComfyUI workloads, owner asks for comparisons

A Palit RTX 5090 Gamerock owner shares thermals under AI workloads: undervolted to 2800/900MHz and power-limited to 400W, gaming sits at 60-63°C core / 80-85°C hotspot. But in ComfyUI running Krea2 (2K) image generation, the hotspot reaches 92-98°C without a power limit, and batch runs push it to 89-91°C even when limited — a core-to-hotspot delta often over 30°C.
Also notes idle temps dropped to 34/38°C after switching to Linux (CachyOS), and pushing fans to 80% only buys 1-2°C. The post asks other 5090 owners to share their numbers for comparison.
