Dev builds Mac app that anonymizes client names before you paste them into ChatGPT

A developer (disclosed self-promo) released barel.ai, a free Mac app that anonymizes text before it hits ChatGPT: names, companies and amounts are swapped for placeholders like 'Person A' and 'Company A', and ChatGPT's reply is re-identified locally on your Mac. His quick self-test: if you wouldn't email the exact text to a stranger, the names shouldn't be in it. Example: 'Draft a reply to Maria Kovač about Northwind's €48,000 renewal' goes out as 'Draft a reply to Person A about Company A's [amount] renewal'.
