Concept imagines X in-app browser showing Community Notes on any webpage
nima_owji · x · 2026-10-22
User @nimaowji shared a concept design called "X Browser" that would surface Community Notes on any webpage opened via X's in-app browser, extending the feature beyond the timeline.
In the mockup, reader-added context appears directly under claims on external news articles, and users can rate whether notes are helpful — all without leaving X. The author argues Community Notes is one of X's best features and shouldn't stop at the edge of the timeline. It's a concept only, not an official feature.
