Alibaba's Tongyi team launches Qwen-Audio-3.1-Realtime for live voice interaction

Tongyi's speech team released Qwen-Audio-3.1-Realtime, built for real-time voice interaction in messy human conversations.
The team stresses realtime voice isn't just ASR + LLM + TTS glued together: humans interrupt, change their minds mid-sentence, and decide when to speak or wait. An architecture diagram shows a Listen (audio + context) → Think (reason, decide) → Speak (respond, wait) / Act (execute, verify) loop with execution feedback and continuous conversation flow.
