Microsoft Security Research's official blog details how, as early as September 2026, China-state-aligned actor Storm-0940 used the agentic AI penetration-testing framework ARTEX to automate attacks targeting hundreds of organizations globally — several achieving privileged cloud access in under 3 hours from initial targeting.
