Chatlet: Generative UI That Emerges From Group Conversations
round · x · 2026-10-22
A research project called Chatlet explores interfaces that take shape and evolve alongside natural group conversations — users keep talking to each other (not an AI) while the UI emerges from context to help everyone think, coordinate, and decide together. The core thesis: generative UIs shouldn't require an explicit prompt, but should recognize from context when an interface is useful and what form it should take. Boosters highlight its fit for ambient, creative brainstorming where the interface acts as an automatic notetaker.
