A viral post pairs 1999 screenshots of the AOL client and Amazon.com homepage, prompting a wave of Web 1.0 nostalgia.

• The AOL view shows the classic welcome screen, weather, headlines ("GOP Cuts $792 Billion Tax Plan"), a Buddy List, and "You've Got Mail."
• The Amazon page features Harry Potter bestsellers, a MiniDisc player bundle, and a long-gone Auctions section.
• The caption — "we shall return to glorious days of Web 1.0" — resonates amid today's AI-slop web.
