aryaman2020 · x · 2026-10-22
Recursive, Richard Socher's company, launched Flint, a fast local coding model built from scratch in under 4 months by its automated research system, the Eureka Machine. Claims: up to 2x faster than comparable models — 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark — with private, unmetered local inference. Open weights are on Hugging Face; free trials via opencode and pidot.dev.
