Practical-Rise-1188 · reddit · 2026-10-22
Morningstar launched Direct AI, exposing its research via Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT through three agents built on its data and ratings: one for asset managers, one for fund sales teams, one for due diligence embedding its Medalist Ratings framework, backed by 1,100+ analysts. Anthropic's Claude for Financial Advisors (Sept 14) already includes connectors from BlackRock, Schwab and Vanguard, with Schwab bringing it to 16,000+ independent advisers. The Morningstar connector, live since Nov 2025, offers six tools and requires a Morningstar account.
