X posts land in Google Discover: 2.18k impressions but only a 1.4% CTR in 28 days

An SEO practitioner found his recent X posts appearing in Google Discover, but performance is weak: 2.18k impressions and just 30 clicks (1.4% CTR) over 28 days. The top post, about websites closing their doors to AI agents (OpenAI, Meta), got 18 clicks from 782 impressions. A first data point that Discover now indexes X content — but as a traffic source it's still marginal.
