Cross-model review: Argon retracts its KV Cache advice after DeepSeek and QwenFlashNext critiques
OvertaxedOne · reddit · 2026-10-22
A Redditor ran a multi-model cross-review experiment: Argon recommended moving to K8V8 for a KV Cache setting on Strata, then DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and QwenFlashNext each reviewed the write-up, with Argon doing the final review.
Argon retracted its K8V8 recommendation after seeing the two critiques. Notably, Argon left its own analysis out of the comparison, and it ran outside the harness DS/QFN used with more visibility — the author offered logs but Argon said it didn't need them. A playful, non-rigorous experiment, but the author found the result striking.
