Fibo 2.0 native 2K stretching fixed: Redditor shares RoPE settings for direct hi-res generation
sktksm · reddit · 2026-10-22
A Redditor stress-tested Fibo 2.0 (Dev and Edit Turbo) and found that while detail quality improves dramatically at 2K and above (skin, clothing, hair, environments), the model starts stretching people, repeating scenery, and breaking proportions — across landscapes and objects, not just anatomy.
Custom sigmas didn't help, but adjusting positional encoding (RoPE) did. The shared settings enable direct native 2K generation with no upscaling, second pass, or hires fix, substantially reducing distortion while keeping the extra detail. Speed: 19s at 2K 4MP with turbo 8 steps and one reference image on an RTX 6000 PRO.
Full-res comparisons are on imgur, and workflows are published on CivitAI and HuggingFace.
