GMG Open-Sources an Apache 2.0 ServiceNow Agent With Human-Approved Changes
adnan_hashmi · x · 2026-10-22
Chris Gatlin, founder of GMG Technology, open-sourced the core of GMG AI Agent (Apache 2.0), a bring-your-own-LLM agent running inside ServiceNow as a scoped app. Open a record, use the floating panel, and ask questions in plain language.
The design targets the two questions enterprises always ask — cost and control:
- Page-aware, scope-limited: it reads any record you can see (fields, related incidents) but only modifies the record you have open.
- Propose, don't write: changes appear as diff cards with plain-language warnings like "Live change. This script is active. Your change goes live when you confirm" — nothing is written until a human clicks Accept.
- Built in public with Cursor and Grok Bot.
