AI artist's realism trick: add a mundane maintenance hatch to make futuristic architecture feel lived-in
tisch_eins · x · 2026-10-22
AI artist tischeins shares his Midjourney philosophy: he can't believe in a future where nothing has been repaired — even unfamiliar architecture needs drainpipes, replacement windows, and service doors. For one image of a vast curved building, he added a deliberately ordinary maintenance hatch with mismatched screws and a patch of sealant, using the contrast between ambitious structures and the practical compromises of use to convey scale and human presence.
