Anthropic has opened a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app positioning Claude as a proactive agent:
- Claude surfaces what needs your attention instead of waiting for prompts
- It completes tasks and keeps working while you step away
- It checks with you before acting on your behalf
The poster quips about not coming up with the name first. It marks another major step in Anthropic's push to productize agents.
