Open-Source Archestra 1.4 Adds Remote Coding-Agent Runtime and Single MCP Gateway
motakuk · reddit · 2026-10-22
Archestra, an open-source platform for running AI agents, shipped v1.4 with two key additions:
- Remote runtime: coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Hermes run in containers on your cluster with persistent files; model calls route through an LLM proxy and tool calls through an MCP gateway.
- Unified MCP gateway: tools load progressively—clients only get searchtools and runtool, discovering and invoking dozens of integrations (GitHub, Slack, Gmail, Postgres, Jira, Linear, Notion, Stripe, K8s, etc.) on demand.
Fully open source, with gateway/runtime docs and a blog post.
