Baseten, with the baselabs team, released two open-source decision models: 27B mammoth-1 ranked #1 on the Jev Decision Index and 9B elephant-1 tied #1 on the Artificial Analysis Decision Index. Both are free to deploy and post-train, with full training details published, and free API access until Oct 27, 2026, 11:59 PM PT.
