Recursive (Richard Socher's startup) released Flint, its first model: a best-in-class local open-source coding model running at 150+ tokens/s on an NVIDIA DGX Spark and 125+ tokens/s on a MacBook Pro M4 — up to 2x faster than comparable models. It was built from scratch in under four months using Recursive's automated research system, the Eureka Machine, with open weights available on Hugging Face.
