PyTorch Foundation Adds Nine Members, Nebius, Nscale and Shopify Join as Platinum

The PyTorch Foundation announced nine new members at PyTorch Conference North America 2026: Platinum members Nebius, Nscale, and Shopify; Silver members LightSeek Foundation and Lablup; and Associate members including SKOPOS India Foundation and several universities.
Nebius's SVP of Applied AI Ryan Hanrui Wang joins the Governing Board and Technical Advisory Council. Nebius says many of its teams train and serve models with PyTorch and vLLM, and it sponsors vLLM's compute for development, testing, and benchmarking.
Executive director Mark Collier framed the expansion as compounding gains for open source AI, with the foundation's hub projects including PyTorch, vLLM, DeepSpeed, Ray, Helion, and Safetensors.
