Socher's Recursive launches Flint: local coding model at 125+ tok/s on MacBook
ying11231 · x · 2026-10-22
Richard Socher's RecursiveSI has released its first model, Flint — a fast local coding model built by its automated research system, the Eureka Machine. Claims: best-in-class fast local coding, up to 2x faster than comparable models (125+ tokens/sec on MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark), built from scratch in under 4 months. Open weights are on Hugging Face; the pitch is private, unmetered intelligence on your own machine.
