HeyAmit_ · x · 2026-10-22
Richard Socher's Recursive AI launched Flint, its first model: a fast local coding model built from scratch in under 4 months by their automated research system, the Eureka Machine. It claims best-in-class fast local coding at up to 2x comparable speed — 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro and 150+ on RTX Spark — offering private, unmetered intelligence with open weights on Hugging Face.
