DavidBennett__ · x · 2026-10-21
ai& x AMD Build Day hackathon applications are open: December 1 at Palace Hotel Tokyo, 8 teams (40 builders) tackle 8 real problems from AMD's SI partners in 4.5 hours, then demo on the Advancing AI stage.
- The stack is ai& inference: Kimi, GLM, Qwen and MiniMax open-weight families served on AMD accelerators behind OpenAI-compatible endpoints from Japan, with accounts and credits provisioned in advance.
- Free entry with meals; builders can compare frontier open models side by side with support from platform engineers. Apply by November 9; Japanese or English both fine.
