4chan read-only, DeviantArt down as sites await urgent PHP RCE patch

Major sites are preemptively going offline ahead of an urgent PHP patch for the php2shell remote code execution vulnerability:
- 4chan: temporarily read-only pending the security update
- Something Awful: forums shut, calling it "the kind of hacking you see in movies (but in real life)"
- Also offline: Pinboard, Fur Affinity, Choice of Games, Damn Interesting, explain xkcd; DeviantArt down "for maintenance"
- The exploit was independently reproduced and publicized, with active attack attempts reported
- Official fix due at 14:00 UTC (10am New York)
