Winbrow: a fully local Windows voice assistant running Qwen 4B on Snapdragon X Elite's NPU
HowDevelop · x · 2026-10-21
Inspired by Pratim Bhosale's Macbrow, a developer built Winbrow, a voice-controlled Windows assistant for browser and computer use.
The stack combines GradiumAI speech, TypeSafe's Jev routing, and browser automation adapted from browseruse's Jev Ultrafast project, with Alibaba's Qwen 4B LLM handling replies and Phonon doing TTS — all running locally on a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite NPU, built for Phonon's OSS launch.
