Sell Software? Build Custom Tools for Influencers Instead
yangyi · x · 2026-10-21
The author notes a mutual envy: software people want to be influencers, and influencers want to build software. His suggestion: if your software won't sell, build custom software for influencers — they already have traffic and monetization needs, so the product has a built-in buyer. The point is to reverse the usual build-then-find-customers order and anchor on a customer with distribution first.
